Hello, all! I am new to the backyard chicken idea! I have always loved having tons of animals and I'm thrilled that my husband is into us getting our own chickens. I truly feel he just really wants eggs everyday lol. But either way =). Anyway, I live in California but we are moving to Colorado in January. We are staying in Aurora until we get our place. The thing is we don't know the rules for where we can have chickens and all of that. What are the laws on that? We only plan on having 3 or 4 chickens. And what kinds of chickens do best in the snowy weather? Thanks all and I hope to learn all about these chickens before we get to CO!
