Here are some pics of my cochin chicks. They are feathering out nicely and I'd love to share them with you.
Here's my son giving them a little chase.

Here's another pic of him. Let's call him chick #1
    [IMG]
chick #2. She's my next best and probably the only one Im keeping
    [IMG]
Here's chick #2 with chick #6 tailing her.
chick #3 nice pullet. but a little too much "ticking" I call it. (the speckling on her back and cushion)
chick #4 4,5,and 6 are app. a week younger. I kept putting eggs under my broody. I think this one has a bit of growing before I can sex it.

chick #5 may be a keeper if she's a she...I think she may be [IMG]

So pretty...beautiful color. I can't wait til I get my pair of Colombian cochins in the spring...just old enough to start laying.

I second the vote for #5, what a nice, compact bird!

Quote:LOL I had to scroll back up a couple of times looking at the chickens. They're all feathering! And then I realized... Wow, am I slow on the up-take tonight!

    Time for bed...

Lovely babies, now I want columbian cochins, darn it.

They have such a 'pristine' sort of look. #2 is gorgeous!
