Columbian Wynadottes?

Just want to know some facts about them.Like are they calm good layers in summer & winter, and do they go broody?

I just ordered some CW eggs that will be delivered in Feb. As far as I understand, they Wyandottes are good layers even in winter and yes, they have the potential to go broody. I researched several breeds because I wanted winter layers and as far as temperment, laying, size, and various other things I wanted, they won hands down in my opinion. I have yet to have any but I am certainly looking forward to getting my eggs and hatching them. There is a Wyandotte thread under the Breeds section. There is lots of good information on that too. Hope this helps. I also ordered blue Wyandottes and partridge Wyandottes as well as columbian. I think they will all be gorgeous.
