The ComaI County Fair Association sponsors a show for persons who like to raise backyard chickens. The birds do not have to be pure bred, but must be in good condition and be free of disease and pests. The birds do not have to be entered before the show, but they must have a current Pullorum-Typhoid (P/T) test.

Looks great, too bad mine haven't had a recent P/T test.

If you are interested in showing, they usually do PT testing the first day of the show, prior to allowing any birds in the barn.

Contact Dickey Richardson, the tester for this area, to see if they are still doing it this year.

Even if you are not showing, it is a still a good place to see a variety of chicken breeds.
