I have a Barred Rock roo and he is about 13 weeks old. I just wondered if a sort of coral colored comb and wattles are normal for his age. It is not bright red. He is happy and very healthy looking. Will his comb change color as he gets older? I am relatively new and have not gone through this before so I don't know what is "normal" for a barred roc of that age. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Probably your best bet is to post a photo... but pretty much anything except pale or really dark should be ok

[IMG]Hope this image works. The comb color does change color a little in different light so I may be questioning something that is perfectly normal?????

I'm new too but u can usually go by how they are acting and the brightness of their eyes. In other words, are they their usual perky self?
