Is my girls comb normal for her breed?
I'm unsure of her breed also!

I don't think it should be black like that at the front. It's probably bruised from fighting

She kind of looks like she a cross between a black skinned bird and a white skinned bird... such as say an Ayam Cemani cross Easter Egger. It could be what @Flock Master64 was saying but to me it looks more like a cross breed chicken that has interfering colours... just my guess/opinion

Probably the question that will give you the answer is has she always had this colouration in her comb or has it just happened recently?

I think the comb coloration is part of her genetic heritage - whatever cross produced her.

Greetings from Kansas, mrsdiamond, and :welcome! Great to have you aboard. I tend to agree with the genetics answer some have provided. If it's always looked that way, that is. I have a couple with combs like that. Best wishes and thanks for joining BYC! :)
