Commercial Poultry Farms as bad for Humans as for Birds

    you don't even eat the eggs from your own chickens?
     
  4. Supply and demand...would you rather have chicken from China? At least we can see the [email protected] they live in here. Not that it makes it any better.
    I feel sorry for the farmers...they need to organize. Its the 1800's labor movement all over again.

    Does not look good for anyone...:eek:

    I guess I could but it is really the principal of the matter. I boycott all animal products whether they were humanely produced or not.

    No I hatch them! or I boil them and feed them back to the chooks my family will eat them too.

    As a vegan don't you feel bad about hatching eggs and creating more chickens. 99.9% of vegans and veggies are against the breeding of any animal.
    I am a vegetarian and have chickens but don't eat the eggs (bc I am allergic) so I cook them for my bf who is a veggie as well bc he likes them or they go right back tot he chickens or given away. We never buy eggs. If we had to buy them he wouldn't eat them.
    I also do not drink milk, though he does.




    Yeah if he's a vegan it means no meat at all and no dairy.
