On my daughters computer, she reset her password and now
the computer will not let her access it. Says invalid password or
some such.

I believe it has a Windows 2000 system.

Does anyone know a way to go around this? I really hate to have it
completely wiped. She has alot of nice pictures on there.

Spook...who has a sad daughter.

These things have passwords?

Who knew?

Sorry Spook... I know I'm not a bit of help, but I hope someone smart will help you.

Me, I don't change my password. Never. Ever.

My daughter...not so much. She said she changed the password
to "I love Justin Bieber" or whatever his name is. Point is, she now
wants a new computer for Christmas. Why? Her computer still works,
you just can't use it.

Silly girl.

Found this on Yahoo answers:

idk if this works for Windows 2000, but on my XP, when the computer is starting i press F5 keep pressing it until a screen comes up and ask u what to do, then pick SAFE MODE... if the thingy ask u for a Username and password type ADMINISTRATOR for username and dont type anything for password, then got o control panel and look for user accounts... then remove the passwod from ur son's account

Unless she set herself as the Admin...then, well.
