    I have those not sure if they will keep the hawks away but I like camo.

    I just had a bad experience with a hawk... I might try this. I have about 50 chickens and out of all my chickens, the stupid hawk got my favorite :( she won best exhibition the last 2 years in a row. She was a pure white bearded silkie. We saw the hawk getting her and chased it off, but it had already broken her neck. [​IMG]

    I might get these for my bantams. All of our chickens are free range, on our 6.5 acres. We've been keeping them in the coop since then, but we can't keep then in there forever and where we live, out in the country, it's bound to happen again... [​IMG]

    Sorry for your loss. I have learned that when it comes to predators, you could have 500 chickens and one favorite and the predator will get your favorite EVERY TIME!!! [​IMG]
