Concerned and awaiting USPS Delivery-edit: Got the ducklings. No worries

Our ducks shipped yesterday, and while Cackle in Missouri basically said that shipping updates may not be accurate, there is a winter storm and it says they are still in Kansas City, and won’t arrive until Friday.

I’m concerned they won’t survive and that makes me so sad.

What is the longest shipping time others have had with success?

I'm hoping for their sake that the shipping estimate is wrong...I've never ordered shipped poultry because, well, it's USPS.

Crackle shipped out on a Monday? I thought all orders shipped Wednesday?
Maybe it’s just my orders have all shipped on Wednesdays and I receive them on Friday. How many states are you away from Missouri?

In a similar situation, tracking from Cackle has not updated since Monday night, but trying to remain hopeful. Last year my order from Metzer said arriving Thursday night and they showed up on Wednesday morning. Sometimes they’re moving so fast through the system updates don’t happen until it’s considered delivered.

Better news, they apparently departed the regional distribution center,Greeville SC, before midnight last night according to tracking. That puts them 90 miles away. It going to be really cold tonight ( in the 20s) so there is hope they’ll show up before that.

They’re here! And so glad. Tonight will be down in the 20s.

So glad you got them! They are adorable!!! My order from Metzer's last week took 3 days but they arrived safely.
