Concerns about Corona?

So, with corona in full swing sweeping the world, and given that diseases tend to establish reservoirs in swine and birds, has anyone heard of concerns regarding their current flock or adding to it with new birds this spring? The CDC has recommended limiting your time spent with animals if you suspect you're positive for COVID 19 because they don't fully understand this virus yet. Is it wise to purchase birds this year?

CDC also said they haven’t had a case where it went to animals from human. That’s just Incase/they don’t know statement.

Is it wise to purchase birds this year?

I have not seen any reliable news about animals infected with this Corona: covid-19.
If you like to buy more chickens I would do so.
The cat in Belgium was only in a gossip-quality newspaper as far as I can see. Doubt it.

Cats and ferrets can get Corona but they will not transmit it to others. Chickens and ducks can't get Corona. I posted more info in another Corona topic about this subject.
