I would put something soft down, not gravel.

You'll need an absorbent litter on top of the concrete -- wood chips, pine shavings, pine straw, strew, etc.

Nice! Can you open the ends to shovel stuff? Free stuff is what goes in the chicken run around here, like pine needles and yard waste. Put something around the bottom so the litter does not go through the large openings of the chain link. Solid metal roofing panels, boards, or hardware cloth will keep small birds in, coons from grabbing birds, and your liter in place.

You do need to put some kind of mulch or dirt down. Chickens like to scratch. I would also add a roof. For their safety and for shade.
