8 light sussex & 1 silkie will this work in a 8x15 run ( no free range ) do you think this will work

Most breeds can be kept together with no problem. But it works best of they raised together as chicks. How old are they and we're they raised together? You normally want 10 square feet per bird and half that for a bantam. So you need 85 square feet for all 9 chickens. An 8×15 is more than enough space for your whole flock.

Keep an eye on them. Large breeds sometimes pick on bantams, especially crested ones.
