Hi everyone. Hate to ask but just so confused. I have two 21 week old lavender orpingtons. Same hatch from someone locally. They grew at extremely different rates. I figured the one that feathered out in the first 6 to 8 weeks was a roo. Comb and wattles were obvious. The sibling looked like a baby parrot forever and took a long time to get its feathers in (close to a month later). Now at 20 weeks the one that feathered out last has been crowing for almost a month, has a much larger comb and wattles but not a peep from the other one. No aggression, no crow. The comb and wattles don't seem to be growing much either on the "original roo". Is it possible is a hen or just a wimpy roo? For context my bantam roos just went to freezer camp but were crowing for at least 2mo and were the same age.
Is it possible to have a orpington hen with significant wattles and comb?
Images attached. The one hanging with the hens is the one in question. Single pic is the sibling that's confirmed a roo.
Thanks in advance!
