Continue the Story (Farm addition) The adventures of the curious chicken.

The way this works is each person will add one sentence at a time to make up a story about a chicken through the backyard/ farm. Each added sentence must make sense and continue the story. Get in early enough and you get to name the chicken. lol.

Please keep it to one sentence per post, and be sure to read through them. 1. for a good laugh and 2. so you don't duplicate the story line.


I'll start off...... "Once upon a time..."

There was a chicken in the barnyard.

The chicken enjoyed watching the sun come up.

The rooster's name was Speckle and he liked to sit on the old rugged white fence rail in the barnyard.

Speckle had numerous friends around the barnyard.

Although his friends liked him a lot, they hated his constant loud crowing throughout the day and thought that he was annoying.

One day all his friends conspired to get back at speckle for all of that early morning crowing.

It was just another morning that Speckle was sitting on his fence post,when he heard one of his friends yelling for him, so he decided to go see why.
