Control flies and gnats indoors

  1. These are excellent- contain dichlorovos. Along with dry bedding, food-grade DE and Stable Boy powder, I use these in barn/coop, and have for 22 years.

Avoid hanging over food/water and keep away from birds, you can encase in hardware cloth if necessary.

Various generic brands sold through TSC, hardware stores, feed shops, tack shops, agricultural supply outlets.

Ergo, no flies or gnats indoors

Cool - thanks for posting this. I haven't experienced a hot summer with chickens yet, and I'm sure I'll be in great need of some kind of fly-keep-away thing...not looking forward to it! then again, maybe it'll keep the flies away from the house if they all "flock" to the coop! [IMG]

  3. Since there have been a lot of fly posts, I'm giving this a little bump and hoping others will add their fly control tips...[IMG]
