Heya, all. Thanks for taking a minute to check out my post; means a lot that people are willing help out a college student like me. Well, to get to the point, man does not live on bread alone, and the same holds true of college students and ramen (mostly). Luckily for me, though, there's an amazing little farmer's market once a week up by where I live, and I managed to get my hands on some beautiful fresh eggs today. Thing is, my only real cooking utensil...is a hot pot. So far it's only really been used for soups and ramen, so needless to say my experience is rather narrow.

Heh, I'm not very good at getting to the point, am I? Sorry.

So, NOW to get to the point, does anyone have any interesting ideas for cooking eggs in a hot pot? Any recipes I could get my hands on?

Thanks, y'all. This student owes you one. Cheers! ^_^

You can crack an egg into boiling water and cook it that way. It's extremely good.

You could probably wing a version of egg drop soup in there, too.

Eggdrop soup would be a breeze: Canned chicken stock, soy sauce, pepper; heat to a rolling boil; drop in an egg or two; stir up; remove from heat; garnish with green onions.
Boiled eggs are sooo versatile. Sandwiches, salads...

H'mm....Egg Drop Soup, huh...Guess I'll have to pick up some chicken broth. That sounds really good, especially now when it's starting to get cold. ^_^

Boiled, Poached...I gotta find one of the local farms up here with hens, see if I can't get a supply for the winter when laying drops off. XP
