Our coop is done... just a few finishing touches left!! So excited!!!
More exciting at this point is our city just passed the final reading of our ordinace to allow 6 hens!!! Permits will be issued starting on Monday August 30!!!!!!
Now the big next step!!!!! We need to fill up the inside: Flooring/Nesting Boxes/Feeders/Waterers oh yeah!!! and Chickens!!!
Contemplating the placement of the roosts and the nesting boxes, so tempting to have my husband modify (one More time) and have them accessable from outside of the coop.
The roof has been placed.... the hardware cloth is on the windows.
We do need to get a pop door between the run and the coop, and something to put over the windows, we have some ideas, just need some time. (My 2 year old asked if we can have a cow too!!) High hopes, don't think her dad would allow it, or the city!!!
