Coop drama! Have a mix of chickens: 6 Guinea fowl, 4 RIR hens, 1 RIR Cock, 3 Barred Rock Hens, 6 Leghorn hens and 4 Americunas, not sure of sex. For the most part, they all get along fine, with a few spats, but the little Americuna is getting bullied (they all do a bit, but the others handle it better). My cock won't let him/her out of the coop, they all try to keep it away from food and water and he is always alone by himself/herself. They are plucking out her/his back and tail feathers, too. They are free ranged now and about 14 weeks old. I do make sure he gets food and water. It's a little heartbreaking. All raised together. Thoughts on why he is singled out? Bottom of the pecking order? If I rehome him for his safety, will the next one up the order start getting bullied? Thanks.
