We are about to finish our very first coop (chicks arrive 8/8)! Have any of you named your coop? If so, what? Also I'm looking for chicken (hen) sayings or verses. Thank you! This site is SO informative...and fun!

haven't named mine either! I was thinking of naming it "Coop de Villa"... but now I'm worried someone already has named theirs that. I guess it doesn't matter too much if they have. But I'm trying to think of something else, too. It just so happens I like coup de villes [IMG]

I just finished painting mine, and if you could see the color you would understand why I named it The Egg-plant.

It's not completely done but you can get a jest of what it will look like. This color is called Weathervane by Martha Stewart.

Well, my coop was going to be "Henway Park" (we're Red Sox Fans), then
Ft. Drumstick (we are close to Ft. Drum) then,
"The all night Egg-Plant" (the name of the Diner my wife and I had our 1st date),

finally landed on the "Barred Rock Cafe'"

I haven't named ours yet, but I had to share a little saying on a plaque my mom bought me...

It says, The Rooster crows, but the Hen delivers! LOL LOVE it!
