rather than a regular plywood on the coop floor, can I use a plywood finished with melamine for an easier clean?
Thank you. My only other concern was that it would be too slippery. I'm now thinking of going back to the idea of regular plywood.
I have vinyl flooring in one of my coops. It is slippery. You MUST use a thicnk layer of shavings so they do not get hurt jumping from roosts. In our other coop we have a plywood floor painted with outdoor porch floor paint, ok to clean but the vinyl is much cleaner, can be mopped. Pros and cons with each. Personally I like them both.
