[IMG] located in the garden....still early in Utah...garden is just started....will post pics later in the season when everything is in full growth.
[IMG] nest box door on front...full walk-in door is on right end
[IMG] notice open door with red feeder attached...it closes at nite...perch is to the right of this door
[IMG] you are looking at inside...another access door straight across...perch...trap door over ramp on the right
[IMG] nest boxes...closed to keep from sleeping in
[IMG] the ladies...2 barred rocks, 2 red sex links
[IMG] nest boxes outer access door
    [IMG] 2nd access door
    [IMG] 2nd access door opened
    [IMG] looking down ramp
[IMG] 2 waterers...they are figuring out the wall waterer (finally)
    [IMG] trap door over ramp

The coop is double walled...plywood inside, cedar outside. There is a chicken wire inner roof under the PVC outer roof, which makes for excellent ventilation. The PVC roof over the coop is painted with Behr white roofing paint (I forgot about the greenhouse effect of the PVC). The paint significantly lowered the temp inside the coop. Not worried about the roof over the run. The floor is a sand base with mulch mixed in every day. The coop/run is secured to RR ties buried at ground level. No HW cloth was used as we have no varmints in this suburban neighborhood. Hope you like.

Very nice coop, good job! Thanks for the reminder of the Greenhouse Effect, I need to do the same to my roof! Great coop, pretty ladies; may your garden and your hens give you great joy (and lots of yummy things!)

Great coop and garden. I'd love to make some tomato cages like that.

I have to give credit for the construction to 2 of my sons. But I was always available for consulting. [IMG]

Suburban chick farmer......those are my snap pea cages. The tomato cages (not shown) are almost 6 foot tall and and almost 3 foot wide.

All you need now is a new coat of paint or some wood sealer.

It is sealed. I like the look of the cedar outside. The ladies told me the inside did not need painting.
