Here is one of my buff brahmas:

    and my barred cochin:

Here "she" is again...do cochin pullets have wattle nubs this early? She is almost 7 weeks in this picture. This is the only one that seems to have reached puberty so far. What do you think?

And this is Anabelle, my BB Red Cubalaya. She has been quite a character so far, but I am curious if anyone else has raised them and what the females look like as adults? (pic is a few weeks old)

    Thanks for looking!

That is a really sweet looking coop - love the windows in front and sunny yellow color and great run.

    Thanks for sharing.

I haven't finished the paint job. I am going to finish the yellow and do the trim in white. I feel like I have been working on this thing for months! I just finished up the run yesterday, so I am going to take a little vacation from this particular project and get some work done on the other things I have neglected. Building a coop from all found materials is time consuming. I would get done with one part and then I would have to go scavenge the streets for more wood. All in all it came out to the cost of screws, paint, and some welded wire that I got for cheap on Craigslist.
