Coop size for

I have 7 chickens , 8 mo , 7 mo and the youngest 2 are 6 months old . The younger 2 have been kept in a small coop from tractor supply beside the larger coop we built which is 12x 4 ft . It is supposed to hold 8 chickens . We would like to put all 7 in the large coop which has an automatic door but we’re wondering if they would peck on each other . All the chickens free range during the day together . I didn’t know if it was a good idea to put all 7 together

They can all go in the big coop. the coop part might be a bit tight but it helps that the run is covered.

Is the coop portion itself 12x4? Or is that coop plus run? A 48 sq ft coop is very good for 7 chickens.

Unfortunately the coop is really only big enough for about 4 integrated chickens. What's the roost layout like?

You can try it, but I would definitely leave the pop door open (assuming it's safe to do so) to allow the younger birds to escape if needed.
