This morning there was a Cooper Hawk (I'm almost positive) on the top beem of the run!

I only have it covered with cheep black netting. We are moving so I don't want to change it. Will it try to get through the netting. WIll it get tagled and frustrated and go away? Will is get tangled and fall into the run????

AGAIN!!!

How dangerous is a Cooper Hawk to full grown full sized chickens?

A Coopers is one of the smaller hawks, but I have found once they find the all-you-can-eat buffet in my backyard, they are hard to get rid of. Do you have only chickens?
Some people find guineas, and peafowl, and dogs are a good deterrent.
Good luck!

Yep, just chickens in the city. I have a pug...he's not going to do much more than be a presance in the yard...but he's not out there all that often.

I've had lots of Cooper's Hawks kill my pigeons, while they completely ignore the chickens.

If your birds are full sized, and grown, I wouldn't worry
