Corinex quail hens with larger roos?

I wonder if it is OK to pair corinex quail hens with an Old English Country male? The roo is about 3 times the size of the hen. He is a beautiful bird with colorful plumage.
 
This larger roo doesn’t sound like a quail... *excuse my ignorance*. If they’re not the same species and he’s 3 times their size then I’d definitely advise not to put them together. :)
 
Could you post pictures of both birds? Is your roo an English white? If so, they're both coturnix. One roo should have 3-5 hens, but I'd be careful of putting a hen in with a roo that's so much larger. Roos are normally smaller than hens.
I don't have a pic of roo, he is about 3-4 times as big as the quail hens.

That really doesn't sound right. Coturnix roos are normally smaller than the hens. Are you sure your hen isn't a button?
