Cornish Rock broilers???**(duh)*))?>

Hi,
Do you know if these birds are noisy?? Are they good sellers to eat?

Cornish x meat birds are not that noisy and will be ready to eat in 8 weeks or so. They grow fast fast fast and are like the type you buy at the store.

They're not particularly noisey. It's more the odor people complain about.

I would venture to guess every single chicken you have ever eaten was a Cornish cross (aka Cornish Rock). If not every chicken, then 99.9999% of all chicken you've eaten.

And by the way, the average American eats what amounts to 50 chickens each per year. All of which were Cornish Crosses most likely.
