Howdy,
I'm 4 weeks into my new chicken adventure and Have a Cornish X that has been pecked by the others (non Cornish) until it's tail is bleeding. The Cornish is not fully feathered (maybe 85%) and there are no other issues with the chickens otherwise.
The nice folks in the AZ thread recommended Blue-kote but when my wife went to the feed store they talked her out of that and into pine tar.
The pine tar has all sorts of warnings about not being for humans and don't eat it as it's poisonous etc...
They also said the picked on one must be separated from the rest.
I only have 8 chickens and separating would be difficult (not impossible). Also as it is Sunday the feed store is closed. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks.
Mikey
