We put down our blind chick. It couldn't even find food or water. Once I realized it wasn't going to thrive I made the decision. It only lasted a few days because it wasn't going to get better.
Awww that’s so sad. :( :hugs

I wonder if it’s different if they go blind later in life and you keep everything in the same spot so they know??

Still sad though

Yeah probably better if it's later on in life. This chick couldn't find anything even if I put it right in front of it.

I'm not even sure what caused it to be blind to begin with

That’s terrible. :(

Maybe it had something else wrong with it too? Like something weird genetically.

Agreed!! And it’s so unnatural to have to use syringes to prevent him from choking too And they forgot them so he died
That's how he died, I didn't see that. Now that to me is ridiculous.

Then I saw he travelled with a two headed baby. Who in their right mind banks money off their child who is two headed. I'd rather protect them from people making fun of them or gawking at them.

I never understood people honestly

It was from someone else's breeding stock.

I'm still waiting for my new roosters to fertilize my flock. Someone said to wait 3 weeks.

I can't even keep chicks for myself everyone keeps buying them. Now I have no eggs 😑 until the morning 😂
