These kids are going to go stir crazy... There's nothing for them to do. They can't play with each other or go anywhere.
coloring books, paint, board games, card games, video games, go for a bike ride, skateboard, walk the dog, use socks and a trash can to play basketball, hop scotch, tag, hide and seek, give them chores to do, teach them a skill like cooking, sewing, etc. There was life before tv, social media and going out all the time.

Going to do more baking to put my time to good use! FAA4242A-2F47-4097-8717-20F00DF8F566.jpg
My first chocolate french silk pie.... It didn't last long 🤣

Thanks. Ironically my son brought me some to make bread saying, "Mom I don't know what you're talking about they had a lot of yeast!" and bam on the counter is a container of that stuff. I laughed so hard! Kid doesn't want to take it back so I'm stuck with it, might as well make use of it.

If you are so inclined, search vegan cheeses and spreads. Nutritional yeast is used a lot in cooking or replacements for people who are allergic to dairy. I can't really guide you beyond that cuz kiddo was never a fan, but yeah...I have a bottle somewhere. Long past it's due date I'm sure.

😂😂😂 That's hilarious. When you're vegan most vegan stuff is in stock when crisis hits. I've never been more happy to be vegan. I can live off veggies, but people who are omnivores can't for long periods of time. I feel bad for low carbers.

I'm growing veggies and herbs so I don't have to worry constantly about the grocery store not having specific things I need.
My "real" emergency food stock is TVP and quinoa. Of course there are always beans and rice on the shelf as well. :) :frow

Yup. We have a health food store chain here called Sprouts. It is one of my favorite places to shop for a lot of things. They still had a lot of stuff on the shelves in the medication aisle. I was floored when I found several bottles of GSE, I use it for washing produce, and tea tree oil was there as well.

I think I'm going to try it on vegetables and maybe some pasta. Sneak it in without hubs knowing it's there and see if he notices. I get a lot past him that way. And meatloaf. Meatloaf hides a lot!

I just go by what the scientist recommend 👍👍 1/2 strength powdered milk in waterers and increasing chicken house temps, and antibiotics can be administered to avoid secondary infection

What scientist said to give chickens powdered milk, extra heat and antibiotics??

I think if that was a real way to prevent this virus we would ALL be being told to do it.

WOW! Small world. Our first two in Sidney, then they closed, next in Fox Oneonta, last two in Binghamton.
Was way down in Disney Fl prob four yrs ago DW was talking to a woman in a store there asked where in NY we were from, kinda hard to explain small town have a blinking red light and a gas station, between Oneonta and Binghamton if you heard of them... She says oh yeah, I'm from Franklin...well your pretty much over the hill from us small world 😆
My Grandfather, an aunt , uncle, and assorted cousins lived in Binghamton! I used to visit them in the summer and ride horses.
