Now that fall is here, sort of, I need to think about how many birds I want to carry over through the Wisconsin winter. With that in mind, I have decided to sell 2 pair of my juvenile Cotton Patch Geese. The parent birds are from Dr. Tom Walker's breeding program, and the birds I am selling are from this spring's hatch.
They have been busy keeping the undergrowth down in our blackberry area, and are ready to go to new homes of their own.
Both geese are of the solid variety, and both ganders have quite a bit of grey, meaning they might possibly have saddleback genes. They all have proper pink bills and feet, and the ganders have blue eyes.
I would hope to sell these to someone who is interested in keeping this breed of goose going.
I am located in Southern Wisconsin, midway between Madison and Milwaukee. I am not interested in shipping, but could possibly meet someone at one of the poultry shows coming up this fall in Wisconsin.
