coturnix quail never featherd out

i bougth some cotrunix quail eggs to hatch to bring some new blood into my flock. i had 50 i bought off someone and 50 of my own i hatched. when they hatched out some did not have feathering on there backs and they still have never featherd out right yet there 4 weeks old nad they seem small. i thought they might have been from my birds so i ran aother batch of my eggs they hatchd out fine featherd out good growing good. whats up with other ones should i cull them when they get big enough to eat i dont want to breed them with my birds do i thanks for any info .

I Think Its Just A Runt--- I Have Had 1 Here And There.... Smaller And Way Slower Growth Rate Than The Rest. But They Seem To Do Ok In Many Cases....

its not just one its 20 or more of the hatch out of maybe 38 my last hatch of my eggs had 30 chicks no runts or feathers missing

Wow 20? Huh? That Sounds Like A Shallow- Murky Gene Pool There.... Yeah I Dont Think I'd Want Them Reproducing In My Flock.... That Many It Has To Be Genetic From The Parents Lines..... Therefore These Guys Can Certainly Pass It On To Their Eggs. Bizarre.
