why is my wyandotte's comb on top of her head a really paleish pink?? we had a cold low 30 degree night last night with rain so i was wondering if that was it, and it's in the high 30's low 40's now.. please let me know, or if it's just something normal! also she has been sneezing alot lately, what could be that problem?

I usually notice redder combs in cooler weather.

Does she have discharge from her nose or eyes in addition to the sneezing?

Is she wheezing or have rattled breathing?

Check to see if there is a discharge from the nose. How long has the sneezing been going on? Occasionally one of my hens will get something up her snoot and sneeze, sneeze, sneeze for a while. i tend to bring them inside when that happens and put them under a heat lamp to see if something develops of whatever it is gets sneezed out. If it turns into a respiratory issue you will need to treat.

How old is she? Is she molting? If so, she might need some nutritional supplement in the form of extra protein. She could be running on empty.

If a chicken is dry, out of drafts, well fed, and has a place to roost and cover her feet, the cold generally doesn't impact her.
