Been collecting 8-9 eggs the last few days. I have 6 Dominant Coppers that are supposed to lay dark brown eggs. What I am seeing is 3 dark eggs and the rest fall on the off-white scale.

My question is what are the difference between Dominant Coppers and Black Australorps? Pictures show slate or black legs clean and white bottoms. My girls, coincidently, are all have clean shanks except 3.

There are six. I took quick pictures of two furry footers, and two clean shank pullets.

Well, Australorps don‘t actually lay cream or off white.
Thought I read brown to light brown. Here’s the coloring I’m curious about. The three I’m getting daily are on left. Light colored ones center and store bought white egg right.
