In April I bought two new chicks at the feed store. I asked for an Olive Egger and a Lakenvelder chick. The olive Egger looks lots like a barred rock with a slight top-knot. She lays a lovely olive green egg. The one that is supposed to be a Lakenvelder is beautiful, but all gray. Today she laid her first egg and it was white. Any idea what breed this pretty gray bird might be? The first photo shows the tiny white egg she laid today. This little hen is very personable and friendly. Jumps onto the perch and gets right next to your face and chats with you! I just wish I knew what she was!
