I have two Silkie chicks about 6 weeks old and I was wondering if someone could help me with determining gender.

I have three 8-9 weeks. One is starting to grow his little streaming feathers on his head/comb, so I feel sure it’s a male. My other two do not have the longer feathers growing, so I think they are females. Also, when I handle them, my male is louder. And lastly, my male tends to be off doing his own thing while my females stay closer to the hen or together on the yard.
