I'm going to assume that her hatch rates are low? Don't know if it's because the eggs are from new layers. I hatched out 4 of 5 set under my broody. They had been laying about a month or so. The one that didn't hatch had a blood ring.

I was figuring a low hatch rate or development starting and then the embryo dying shortly after.

I think you should let a hen lay awhile before hatching.

I've hatched a lot of pullet eggs. Often they're cramped and don't turn to zip well, or are backward. If that's your problem, that's your problem.

But you didn't say what problem you were having...

some old man told me that hatching newly laying hen will not turn in good result but i don't know since i don't hatch any, they're all infertile.

but, there's no harm in trying. [IMG]

I've hatched a lot of pullet eggs and never really had any problems with them.

More info like what kind of incubator you're using, temps and humidities that you're running it at, would be helpful.
