I am not sure if he is worth it or not but I would never spend $200 on a Rooster..

The comb has been dubbed.... 9 times out of 10 its a fighting rooster, and the price is so high because he's won fights....

ETA: He has no wattles either.... also a cock fighting thing....

I would agree with PouletsDeCajun. It is a fighting cock with wins and that's why he's $200. I think it's deplorable to fight chickens, dogs or anything else but it happens so, there will be someone who will pay it I'm sure. [IMG]

    Shows how little I know.

Thanks. I always look at the chickens on craigslist and wondered what made this one worth so much.

Yes it is sad that anyone would put an animal through that.

Quote:Just wanted to add that dubbbing is also a show thing, for Games anyways. Not saying it is in this instance, but it might be best to say that dubbing is for show as well so people dont see a dubbed show bird and think someone is fighting them. I agree with you though, but since fighting birds is against the rules, expect this post to be locked ASAP.
