Country Roads

    Sunday mornings are usually quiet in our neck of the woods so I walked along the road.

    Flowers are scarce this time of year.

    The trees are just starting to change color.

    Fences are tightened and gates are locked to settle deer hunting boundaries.

    Clouds rise and thicken.

    The polk salad berries are ripe. Don't eat them!

    Very nice, thanks for sharing. Those pictures look as if they could have been shot in my neck of the woods.

    Thanks for taking us a walk! I didn't know about those polk salad berries being poisonous. We get those around here too!

    We call those ink berries and thats what we use them for. Painting and calligraphy.....

    My sister won't live in the country. She don't like the bugs or having to drive far to go shopping. On the other hand, I like bugs and hate to shop. [​IMG]
