Hi my name is Jeanette Hughes from Aurora Colorado. I have raised chickens before and even helped my daughter learn how laws are made by going all the way from grass roots meetings to getting chickens allowed in Aurora where we live. We spoke in front of city counsel and every thing. I was very proud. We currently have 10 chicks we are trying to raise to chickens and then we will be splitting them with another family. They are 2 White Rock, 2 Golden Sexlink, 2 speckled sussex, 2 barred rock and two other black and white ones I am not sure on at the moment. We are raising them in a partial chicken coop and a small hutch built into the shed. Very excited to see how they go in our new home.
