Countryside Naturals Waste

Anybody out there using Countryside Naturals Soy Free Organic Feed? Do your chickens really like it? I find I have a huge amount of waste with it. My girls pick through for what they like and everything else winds up on the floor. I think i'm going to switch back to Blue Seal Organic Life Pellets because I am worried that they are not getting the nutrients they need. I tried a hanging feeder to address the food flying issue but due to the physical makeup of the feed it does not flow well... Anyone experience anything like this? Solutions?

Hi there,

I went through 2 bags of it and my girls loved it, but it was way too expensive to have shipped to California, unfortunately. I would mix the leftover powder with a little bit of yogurt or water to make a mash. The girls ate it up!

I set my feeder inside a plastic plant saucer that catches nearly all of the feed billed out of the feeder.
