Covering a run.

Hello,

First off, this is not about chickens, this is about my rabbits run. As you all know, today is Memorial Day weekend. I saw something very interesting today that's cool, but it's telling me I really need to cover my run soon. I've been putting it off, to be honest, and today, I realized I have to get it covered immediately. This is what I saw:



A bald eagle was circling my house today, on Memorial Day weekend. Interesting coincidence, but I still need to get my run covered. As tough as my rabbit is, she won't stand a chance against an eagle if it comes down.

Here is a picture of the run. I made it out of an old trampoline, and some wire fencing.



I'm trying to figure out how to put a cover on the run so an eagle cannot get in, but I can to give food and water. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi Jared, Fine netting or even fishing line across the top will deter hawks or eagles from swooping down.

@BarnhartChickens98, I happen to be a fisherman, I have a lot of fishing line I use for spooling my reels. I think I'll try that.

I'll have to do it tomorrow, a thunderstorm just rolled in. One of the few natural forces that stops me from fishing!
