Wondering about my 11 chicks if I wanted to keep them in 1 large pen, what will be the safest number male to female, remember I don't know sex yet would 7-f to 4-m be ok chances are I will be out number with male lol can hope though. Oh they are jumbo brown. Or would the male fight?

most people use a ratio of 1 male to anywhere from 3-5 females...

i use 1 male to 5 females....

yea I know that ratio but I have 11 chicks and don't know how many male or female I have yet, I guess if I only get 3 males I'll be ok, but nothing is that easy in this life, I really just need to wait and see what turns out.

Just observe behaviors and if you experience a naughty boy, you can separate him ;P
