My little brother and foster boy saved a duck today. They seen a coyote, in the daylight, with a live duck in its mouth on my front lawn. They ran and got the gun and shot at it, it dropped the duck and ran. it was a very small one, I think this years pup. I hope he doesn't come back.

It was my understanding that it is VERY difficult to even own a gun in Canada. Is this true? I'd move to northern B.C. if I could keep my guns.

You are suppose to have your gun licsence and suppose to register your gun. Mine is not, I just got it, but I don't think they would bother me much as I have livestock to protect. I know alot of farmers here are protesting the fact of this "rule". The duck was ok, some feathers were misplaced but otherwise fine. The boy were surprised to see the duck come out of the bush like nothing happened. I love muscovy's, they are funny like that.
