My buff orphington Skaye cracked her beak! It is near the tip and isn't bloody or painful. What should I do about it. Should I just leave it alone?[IMG][/IMG]

I'm so scared and I haven't opened the run for the day yet as it's still dark and I'm not really expecting to find her alive this morning. RIP sweet sweet Skaye

If she can eat, then IMO leave it alone and let it grow out.

I wanted to update you, Skaye is alive and well! Her beak is healing just fine! I check it every time I go to the coop.

Thanks for the update, so glad she's doing well.

It will take several weeks but the beak will grow and be normal again.
