I've noticed that when I take my blue eggs inside, after a day or so some of them crack. I've tried leaving them on the counter to see if it was from the cold of the fridge, and they still crack. When I go to use the blue eggs the shells are nice and thick, so this doesn't make sense to me. What am I doing wrong?

I’ve never experienced anything like that. I’m assuming you know they were not cracked before you pout them in the fridge. Were they frozen when you gathered them? How many times have you experienced this?

How old are the hens that are laying them?

What temperature is it where you are?

They weren't cracked when I brought them in. However, today I noticed one was cracked in the nesting box.
It's about 75 here today. The weather has been back and forth, but this has been happening for a month. The girls are around 7 months old.

Have you tried candling the eggs to detect hairline cracks?
