Take it out before it starts leaking bacteria in your bator

Welcome to BYC [IMG] You can try repairing it with some candle wax. Birthday candles would be ideal if you have any handy, as the wax melts at a lower temperature. Just check the damage is only shell deep and not through the membrane as well.

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan [IMG]

Unless the egg is quite valuable, I would recommend removing it - spoiled eggs can seriously smell, and contaminate the other eggs in the incubator.

[IMG] I agree with sumi, I've read of several successful hatches where cracks were sealed with melted wax.

Thanks for the help!!! I think I'll take it out as it is not valuable.
