Cracked incubating egg

I cracked an egg that I thought had gone bad. I cracked a quarter size hole at the air sac in. The chick is moving around. It is day 18 I wrapped it in a wet paper towel and raise the humidity in the incubator is it possible that this chick will make it or should I put it out of its misery.

Maybe with tape. But it's a pretty big hole. I feel horrible

Don't use tape, do you have non toxic crayons or candles to melt? If it's a large hole, you can try using another piece of egg shell and attaching with wax. @Kiki

Okay, I have some duck shells. I could try that. I'm afraid to even get it out of the incubator.
