:confused:Hi came home this evening to find that my young hen nugget has cracked her beak. The bone part seems intact but the top of it which I think is the nail like portion was hanging off and now while she was eating she scraped it off. Her bone part of the beak is exposed what should I do about it. She is eating as usual. It's been a eventful week for her she layed her first egg on Monday again on Tuesday and the third today and now this....
Please advise. I'm worried I love my chicks.

Thank You for your quick response. I appreciate it. This morning Nugget is behaving normally eating as usual and being her curious self. I'm not quite sure if I understand what the "quick" is all I can explain is that the part that came off was from the nostrils to the front of the beak. It was beak shaped and looked like a nail, underneath that is a beak (bony like) the color is pinkish and it looks fine. Is that the "Quick"?
