    Hi guys,

I've got a question about my Indian runner duck.
His beak seems to be cracking, and it's slowly getting worse.
He's got loads of water standing everywhere in the garden so that can't be it.
Is there anything I can do about it?

    Thanks!
    Sam

Don't know anything much about ducks but with any animal or human which is experiencing keratin flakiness or breakage, it can be a variety or combination of things from low zinc, sulfur, copper, raw oils, protein, silica, etc in the diet, to external factors such as fungi colonizing the surface.

    Best wishes.

Looks like she's been drilling between rocks. Is that a possibility?

Ehhmmm, not really, he spends most of his time in grass or water, we don't really have rocks in ourbackyard that he could drill between haha

The duck is abrading his or her bill on something. Watch this ducky, see what the habits are - sometimes we are surprised.
